I have a deep expertise in game design, player experience, and interactive storytelling. I am driven by an intent to challenge, delight, and surprise; a vision of the unique way that mechanics, audio, and visuals, come together as a whole work.

I’ve worked in AAA and indie in a variety of design and creative direction roles. I’ve designed gameplay and levels, I’ve built worlds as an artist, I’ve written prose for fictional worlds and characters. Besides my work in games/media, I also teach game design students at various schools in Europe, and find time to pursue art and music on the side.

- Guided core creative and product vision for an ongoing innovative R&D project within the XR landscape.

Writer/Game Designer/Creative Co-Director  - NEEEU Spaces GmbH,

- Designed mechanics and content focused on accessibilty and novel experiences for sightless/visually impaired players.
- Creatively directed game narrative - setting and story, world building, character profiles and arcs, and overall plot.
- Wrote detailed voice and interactivity scripts for each level, and directed voice over recordings.

- Ideated on interaction and experience design pillars, steered project towars playful, colorful design.
- Owned the creation of a compelling VR game environment as art director, producing 3D assets, lighting, and VFX.
- Mentored more junior artists on the team, researched and implemented on the fly solutions to project requirements.
- Prototyped game mechanics for VR in Unity 3D.

- Developed original game concept for the Horizon IP.
- Produced concept and pitch deck materials, including sizzler trailer.
- Pitched to studio and Sony executives.
- Worked with external studio on the game into early production in a creative direction and game design role.

- Owned overall game economy
and progression structure, responsible for core design pillars and player economy experience.
- Conceptualised, prototyped, and internally launched new game systems and experimental features.

- Worked in small, multi-disciplinary feature teams, and created a next-gen design language for HZD2.

Downtime Management

I am always getting lost in my music collection, or learning about the world around me. Ancient history, industrial design, fictional worlds - these elements connect our reality together in the language of design. I print art and improvise music. I 'm engaged by discussion and humor, and try to put myself forward to explore and experience things that are alien to me. I strive to always be beginning.
